German for Students in International Exchange Programs

(Erasmus, USA, ISEP etc.)

Each March and September, right before the beginning of the semester, we offer 4-week German intensive courses for students in international TU exchange programs. We usually offer courses at the A1.1, A1.2, A2, and B1 levels.  Students enroll through theInternational Office of TU Dortmund University.

At the end of the German intensive course, you can place into one of our regular language courses and seamlessly transition into the semester.  We are available for individual advising regarding language course placement and registration throughout the intensive course and the regular semester. 

If you do not want to or cannot take part in the German Intensive Course, you may have to take our placement test before the start of the semester.
